Improving the User Experience in more than 60 hospitals in Spain, Mexico, Argentina and Chile.
The challenge
To revitalise Visual Limes' presence in the healthcare sector and consolidate its IT products as a benchmark in hospital management in Spain and Latin America through a complete update of its brand image, which better reflected its vision and values, and also in the optimisation of the user experience of its digital products and services: Farhos and Nefrosoft.
The focus was on thoroughly understanding the needs and expectations of potential users by proposing new perspectives on the solution that would not only solve the identified problems, but also provide new strategic opportunities for the client.
A Design System as the foundation
The insights found in the research phase led us to define from scratch a new Design System that allowed us to create a more dynamic interface that could be adapted to any device, as well as allowing for future scalability with new functionalities in a more efficient and cohesive way.
The Information Architecture of both softwares were also restructured and new flows were established to facilitate a much more intuitive and accessible navigation, allowing us to simplify the main tasks of the different potential users and reduce the pain points detected.
Finally, through a collaborative approach, we developed a prototype and tested it with several professionals to validate the new architecture and iterate on the small improvements detected.
